According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2024/25 marketing year totaled 9.9 MMT, 33% ahead of last year’s pace.
Net sales of 532,100 MT for 2024/2025 were primarily for the Philippines (97,000 white), South Korea (22,226 HRW, 28,080 HRS, 43,103 white, 17 DUR), Guatemala (37,047 HRW, 2,200 SRW, 25,595 HRS, 12,028 white), Indonesia (30,000 HRS, 40,000 white), and Japan (29,459 HRW, 12,126 HRS, 17,904 white).
USDA forecasts 2024/25 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to total 22.5 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 44% of total projected exports.
